cookie monster with a warning

As a child who grew up watching Sesame Street.. I can assure you , Cookie Monster's eating habits did not cause me to be obese. In fact I was a skinny little girl who could enjoy a cookie from time to time.. want to know why? I played!!! Yep as hard as it can be to think about I actually did play outside. I ran , and tumbled and chased my friends all the time. I even picked up a skipping rope from time to time.. I did not have a WII or an XBOX or the internet to come home too. The only fun I had was in my friends and in my own imagination.
It's sad to think that now.. that furry little loveable character comes with a warning that his habits might lead to obesity!! come on.. you know what leads to obesity.. lack of activity., overloads of junk food and lazy people who would rather point a finger then do something about it...
I will tell you why our kids and we are so friggen fat..
We eat way too much.. Portions are HUGE now.. its insane..
We eat junk food way too much.. Yeah its easier to spend 20 bucks on a bunch of burgers and fries then cook a home meal because we all have to work so damn much!
Kids do not go outside. They sit and play video games now so the only think working out is their fingers.
And we the adults are doing the same thing. We eat too much sit all day and then come home and do the same damn thing..
So please stop blaming cookie monster on your lard asses.... what's next? Rap music? Hell why not toss Ozzy Ozbourne into the mix..

School Administrator Bitch....

Imagine yourself sitting at your office desk, doing your work. You are a school secretary. A small five year old boy comes into your office with a badly banged up wrist. You give him some ice and send him to sit on a bench outside your office. He is alone he is scared and he is crying.

Would you feel comfortable sending him outside your office to sit alone while his parents came to pick him up? Well I know I sure would not but apparently my son's school secretary did.
My son was pushed in his gym class, he fell and many hours later after long emergency room waits we found out that he broke it. He was sent to the office for ice and then sent home to me because he was swelling and in obvious pain.

I think it took me 4 minutes to get to him at school and when I arrived, that was the scene. My scared little boy, crying and shaking on the bench , alone outside the office clutching his arm. A secretary who did not even offer him one moment of her time, not one OUNCE of her compassion to soothe him if even for a moment. She could not even offer him a seat close to her while he waited for my arrival. She did nothing. She simply buzzed us into his school and never looked at us again and just continued her work.
What is wrong with this world? It plays on me over and over again and I cannot shake it! Suddenly as individuals we cannot for one moment think about someone who is hurt or take one moment to share some warmth or love to another human being.

Imagine, all she would have had to do was sit with him a moment, give him some words of comfort, spend a little time with him and maybe his tears would have stopped or his nerves would have calmed or even his mood simply taken away for a brief moment about how much pain he was actually in.. I guess that was asking too much.

What do I do now? Confront her? Like she would care, it would not make a difference. She is a cold bitch and she also happens to be the go to woman at an elementary school!
